Cant wait for the weekend

Just been bumming around with the poker these days. I had a nice session on the Waimea Bay (6 man 25c/50c NL) getting my $50 up to $120 earlier this morning.

Had another go at the $1500 guaranteed earlier but busted out quite early, everything I folded seemed to hit the board well but I was short stacked and went all in on the nut flush draw. Everyone else folded except the button who called with top pair (kings) with a 7 kicker! All good though as I told my mate who was watching - you cant win em all!

Above is a pic of the sit n go I won, I just couldnt miss a flop!! It was nice!

I'll fill you in how I go in the blogger tour on sunday. Cant wait for that and the 50k.

$1500 Guaranteed

Hell yeah!!!!

I entered this tournament as a practice for the upcoming 50k freeroll, and you can see what happened.

Some highlights:

A8 dia in BB for 800, short stack moves all in for 2000. I call against AQ os. The flop comes dia dia dia for nut flush. goodbye short stack.

KK UTG so I limp for 1000 expecting shortstack with 5000 to go all in, I have around 25k in chips. He does and I call, up against KJ :) Flop comes 6 10 J, turn is another J, one outer does not come.

first hand heads up: 10 10, flop comes 10 9 8. I think I have tournament in bag and slowly milk his stack, didnt see runner runner flush but it doesnt matter I wouldve called a 6000 with 24000 in the pot. He has the Q8 clubs and sucks out.

Final Hand, in BB with some rags i cant remember but they raise to 4500 im in BB with 1500 and I call, hoping to hit something to set a trap. I get a gut shot draw so I call the bet or make one myself can't remember lol. The turn fills my str8 but puts out a flush if he has 2 hearts. I bet small and he pushes all in. I really dont think they have the flush as they would've milked it so I call up against QJ no hearts so no draw and only a split if the board fills the straight. Blank on the river and I take down $450 :)

Poker.com Blogger Tour Season 2 Event #1

Event #1 held September 23rd at poker.com

I came 12th out of a field of 75 when my pocket 3s all-in preflop was called by JKos and lost the race. This event is all a bit of a blur because I was so hungover after hosting my own party the night before. Was a bit gutted at coming 12th as the points for the leaderboard escalated after this point. Still im in the top 20 where I want to be.

The Host Bonus Bounty went to ViezeMan who took out the host Shane@poker.com

Going into the final hand Michael1965 came in with 42156 chips to Replicants 107844. The final hand played out when both players saw the flop with no raise. Michael1965 went all in for 38156 into a 8000 pot with the board showing 9h,6c,4d and ReplicantPoker called. Michael1965 showed 3c,4c for a pair of fours and needed to improve vs ReplicantPoker's QcQd. At this stage Michael1965 was a 3:1 dog and needed another 4 or a 3, or needed runner runner clubs or runner runner straight. The Ad turn left Michael1965 at 11.4% to win the hand with 5 outs but missed when the 7d fell on the river.

Season 2 underway on Sept. 23rd

Really looking forward to the poker.com blogger tour kicking off season 2 on Sept 23. They will be played sometime around noon on sundays. First one is the day after my party this Saturday so I'll prob be quite hungover for that one. I will also have a stab at the "blog commentary".

Other than that I havent played much in the last week. I pumped out $250 before winning another $25. Came back to mine after a few drinks in town (free bar tab) before having a few at home then going back into town and my mate likes poker and BJ as well so I said to him he can have a go at the poker.com BJ with the $25 I had won and we ended up taking in a nice $50 profit. Dont know how smart of an idea it was to do as if I had lost that $25 I mightve tried to get it back in my drunken state but it worked out ok.

I will have to see if I can work out the set up for a special blogger tour section.

Tournament Win :)

Played quite a bit lately, i've earned enough for the 50k freeroll at poker.com so i'll let you know how I do it that.

I won the $300 guaranteed last night to pick off $90 in winnings. Really in tune with my game at the moment.

Ive started the practice of cashing out my weekly winnings and sending a check from neteller so ive got a bit more cash in hand for spending seeing im a poor student. sent $150US last week and already up $175 this week although I dont see myself playing all the much.

Highlight last night was in heads up. I was BB and MrsStacks raises to 4500, i've got 35os and I reluctantly called hoping to sneak something on the flop ala Hachem her. The flop comes 333, I check and they go all-in. Um ok! I'll take it!

Won the tournament with a bit of a suckout but by that stage my chip advantage was big. I pushed all in on a 338 flop with K9 called by and 8 but two Ks on turn and river secure my win.

Im back ...

Put $125 into the ol' account at poker.com, some interesting changes there, the 50k freeroll should be good times.

In 2 days im up to $185, and that is also including a bad string of beats that diminished a $50 profit session to $5. Havent played many tourneys mainly just cashgames. Might have to check out the private tourney tab to see if there are any $ added tourneys going.

Been up late doing work for uni so I better crash
